Business Development Manager, Cohesity

Location Chandler, AZ (Hybrid or remote) Compensation Base salary plus bonus component tied to role at market value. About the Role Deepen alignment between Insight’s sales teams and Cohesity’s organization across all segments. Identify high-value opportunities, coordinate complex go-to-market activities, and expand mutual footprint within targeted accounts. Qualify sales opportunities: proactively mine Insight’s existing customer base, lead discovery calls, and qualify high‑potential leads. Sales alignment & enablement: engage with Insight and Cohesity sales teams for strategic account mapping, joint planning, and ongoing enablement on sales plays, solution positioning, and partner incentives. Deal orchestration & solution selling: serve as Cohesity subject‑matter expert to guide account executives through complex sales cycles, coordinating technical sessions and scoping with SMEs and Solution Architects. Pipeline management & opportunity expansion: maintain accurate tracking of opportunities, ensure progression through stages, follow‑up, and identify expansion opportunities to increase deal size and value. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of IT channel experience, directly supporting or selling Cohesity or similar modern data management/data protection solutions. Demonstrated success working with technology vendors in a partner‑led sales model. Proven track record of exceeding sales and pipeline targets through partner alignment and deal orchestration.
