Accounting Associate

Junior Accountant Role Overview Report directly to the CFO Work closely with the Controller and Senior Accountant Support day-to-day accounting and financial operations Great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of public accounting or private/industry accounting experience Key Responsibilities Prepare and process customer invoices and billing Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices Post and reconcile cash receipts and payments Assist with accounts payable and vendor invoices Perform bank and account reconciliations Assist with month-end close and preparation of journal entries Maintain accurate and organized general ledger records Assist with accounting schedules and financial reporting Research and resolve billing and accounting discrepancies Support the Controller and Senior Accountant with various accounting projects and analysis Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly documented Assist with other accounting and finance responsibilities as needed Ideal Candidate 1–3 years of accounting experience Public accounting or private/industry experience both considered Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Comfortable working with invoicing, A/R and general accounting Detail-oriented and highly organized Eager to learn and take on additional responsibility Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
