This position offers a remote work setting, allowing therapists to work from their preferred locations while still being integral members of our clinical team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct mental health evaluations and assessments to create individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of incarcerated patients.

• Perform crisis intervention strategies to support patients in distress and ensure their safety.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions on mental health and related themes for various units, promoting a supportive and therapeutic environment.
\n
• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to coordinate patient access and ensure appropriate housing and treatment transitions.
\n
• Document patient interactions and treatment responses comprehensively to ensure continuity of care and adherence to required statistical reporting.
\n
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and participate in mental health rounds and multidisciplinary case conferences to refine treatment approaches.
\n
• Possibly conduct psychological testing to assist in the evaluation process, expanding understanding of patient needs.
\n
• Supervise social work interns or volunteers as assigned, helping to cultivate the next generation of mental health professionals.

• Perform additional duties as directed by the Unit Chief or Clinical Supervisor to support overall departmental objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our services is on incarcerated individuals seeking mental health support. Many of our patients experience mental health challenges exacerbated by criminal justice involvement, including those struggling with substance use issues and severe mental illness. Qualifications\n

• A valid license of LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is mandatory.

• A minimum of five years of full-time, paid, professional experience providing direct patient care in a behavioral health setting is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
