Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a licensed Occupational Therapist within a school environment near Charlotte, North Carolina. This full-time position is designated to cover maternity leave beginning as soon as possible through January 31, 2027 (tentative), offering 37.5 hours per week across multiple school sites. The role is itinerant, serving locations such as W.R. Odell, Mary Frances Wall Center, and potentially additional campuses.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (please ensure proof of current licensure is ready to submit)
• School-based Occupational Therapy experience (list specific years and settings)
• Familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
• Competence providing OT services in diverse school environments
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Ability to travel between school sites as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with virtual interview platforms (interviews conducted via Zoom)

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver Occupational Therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and school policies
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions for students with varying needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student access, participation, and progress
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to compliance reporting through ECATS
• Travel between specified and potential additional schools as part of the itinerant schedule
