Executive Assistant to the Superintendent

Executive Assistant to the Superintendent Nippersink School District 2 and Richmond-Burton D157 are seeking a highly organized, professional, and confidential Executive Assistant to the Superintendent. Full Time: 12 months - 260 days per year. This pivotal role provides high-level administrative support to the Superintendent and the Board of Education, serving as a primary liaison between the District Office, staff, and the community. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects with discretion. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support: Manage daily office operations, prioritize correspondence, and provide comprehensive support to the Superintendent and Board members. Board Relations: Serve as Recording Secretary for Board meetings, prepare agendas/packets, maintain official records, and ensure compliance with FOIA/Open Meetings Act requirements. Communications: Act as a communications specialist, drafting memos, reports, and handling inquiries with stakeholders. Onboarding & Compliance: Verify new hire paperwork, manage employee records, and coordinate essential training and licensure verification. Project Management: Coordinate District Office events, travel arrangements, and special projects as assigned by the Superintendent. Qualifications Education: High School diploma with college-level coursework in Business Administration, Secretarial Science, or a related field. Experience: Prior experience in executive-level secretarial or clerical support, preferably within an educational setting. Skills: Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, technical proficiency (Google Suite/Office), and an unwavering commitment to confidentiality and ethical behavior. Salary & Benefits Competitive Compensation: Salary range $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience and skill level.
