Desktop Support Technician

Description Tyto Athene is searching for a Desktop Support Level III to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. This is a complex, multi-year contract supporting the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services. Responsibilities Oversees the productivity of 10 Command Focal Point (CFP) personnel Provides support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware. Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise. Qualifications Required Recommend 5 or more years of experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity. Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent. Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid. Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities. Excellent vertical and lateral thinking. Superb time management skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Forbearing, flexible, and supportive Active CompTIA IAT Level II certification (SecurityPlus+, etc.) Provide onsite support at Waner Robins AFRC in GA. Compensation Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The hourly range for this position is typically between $27.00 to $30.00. This does not guarantee a specific hourly/salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
