. This engagement will support day-to-day production and maintenance activities, supervision of union-represented employees, production flow, and maintenance planning and execution.
Scope of Services
The Maintenance Supervisor will provide the following services:
• Manage day-to-day production and maintenance activities within the assigned area.
• Supervise union-represented employees and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Review employee time records and support employee pay administration in accordance with Ford procedures.
• Drive production flow and coordinate maintenance activities to support manufacturing operations.
• Participate in maintenance planning and preventive maintenance activities.
• Apply mechanical, machining, and machinery knowledge to support equipment maintenance and problem solving.
• Support lean manufacturing and process improvement activities.
• Communicate maintenance needs, work status, and operational issues to Ford management.
Service Requirements
The services require skills in mechanics, machining, preventive maintenance, lean manufacturing, leadership, machinery, problem solving, process improvement, assembly lines, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing processes. The assigned resource must be able to supervise union-represented employees and coordinate production and maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment.
