College & Career SpecialistThe College & Career Specialist supports students in developing and achieving their post-secondary goals by providing guidance, resources, and programming related to college admissions, career exploration, financial aid, scholarships, workforce readiness, and career technical education. The specialist collaborates with school staff, colleges, employers, families, and community organizations to ensure students are prepared for success after high school.Requirements/Qualifications:Letter of IntroductionResumeNewark Unified is offering:Health coverage toward a district-provided health planContributions to retirement with CalPERSA highly competitive pay scheduleAnnual stipend for the highest degree earned:$500 Associates stipend$750 Bachelors stipend$1,000 Masters stipend$1,200 Doctorate stipend*Payment for the degrees earned or new hire during the school year will be pro-ratedNot all postings qualify for CalPERS.
