Administrative Fellow Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our organization as an Administrative Fellow. This one-year fellowship program provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, gain hands‑on experience in healthcare administration, and contribute to large-scale hospital‑wide projects. The Administrative Fellow will actively participate in strategic initiatives and engage in shadowing opportunities with executives to develop a well‑rounded understanding of healthcare leadership. This role if full‑time and is hybrid with approximately 2‑3 days in the office. Some benefits of being our administrative fellow include exposure to executive‑level decision‑making and strategic planning and participation in leadership development activities, such as workshops and seminars. The administrative fellow also has access to the senior leaders who provide mentorship, and support and guidance throughout the fellowship. The fellow is involved in multiple large‑scale institute‑wide projects and can gain practical experience in project management and implementation firsthand. Research and Analysis: Conduct research, perform data analysis, and prepare comprehensive reports to inform decision‑making and project planning. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with staff, physicians, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide support asrequired. Agenda Management: Organize and execute large, institute‑wide agendas and meetings, including a monthly virtual session for the Institute’s managers. Minimum JobQualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; amaster'sdegree in healthcare administration, business administration, ora relatedfield isrequired. Work Experience: A minimumoftwoyears of professional work experienceisrequired. Fellowshipsandinternshipsdo not count toward this requirement. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and propose effective solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Team Collaboration: Demonstratedability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Project Management: Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. HighLevelofAutonomy :Demonstratedability to manage complex projects frominceptionto completion with minimal oversight. Healthcare Experience: Previousexperience in an office or healthcare setting or knowledge of healthcare operations is preferred.
