Labcorp seeks a Laboratory Robotics Operator in Burlington, NC to process biological specimens and manage specimen preparation for diagnostic testing. The role involves specimen handling, data entry, quality verification, and operation of automated laboratory equipment on an overnight shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process biological specimens for laboratory analysis and testing
- Verify patient information against test requisitions and enter data into tracking systems
- Route, pack, and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities
- Operate automated instrumentation and maintain production metrics and quality standards
- Handle medical and chemical waste disposal and resolve documentation of problem specimens
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with automated laboratory equipment
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
- Ability to identify and handle biological specimens accurately
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking capability
