Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and nurture a positive therapeutic relationship with each patient to enhance their sense of trust and security.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health issues and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.

• Lead both individual and couple therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate productive discussions and healing.

• Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment strategies based on progress and feedback, ensuring that treatment remains aligned with goals and changing circumstances.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to refer clients to specialized services when necessary, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions, treatment progress, and evolving needs using our integrated electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders, couples facing relational challenges, and families in need of systemic interventions. Many clients may also be dealing with substance use disorders, necessitating an understanding of co-occurring conditions and an evidence-based approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid LMFT license recognized in the state of Massachusetts.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic models and interventions for diverse client backgrounds, particularly for those experiencing mental health and addiction issues.

• Ability to connect with individuals from various walks of life, demonstrating empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing therapy for couples and families, with a proven track record of effective counseling interventions.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse.

Compensation and Benefits\n
