Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage production equipment and machinery according to manufacturing specifications.
• Perform routine calibration, testing, and maintenance of setup tools and equipment.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions for precise equipment configuration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or electrical issues during setup to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
• Document setup procedures, equipment settings, and any modifications made for future reference.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing setup or machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, and precision measurement instruments
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodology.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for tracking and documentation.
• Basic understanding of PLC operation for troubleshooting.
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret pneumatic or hydraulic schematics.
