Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and maintaining healthy boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor progress, address concerns, and discuss discharge planning when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and continuously assess person-centered treatment plans tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop appropriate action plans.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision and peer discussions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve client outcomes and support holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth and young adults experiencing various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral problems, tailoring your therapeutic approach to cultivate resilience and promote mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.
\n
• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric populations and/or substance abuse clients.
\n
• Experience in conducting assessments, providing individual and group therapy.
\n
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in documentation and record-keeping systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
