Shipping clerk

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or shipping environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments
• Pick, pack, label, and stage orders for shipment
• Verify quantities, addresses, and shipping documentation
• Enter shipping information into company systems
• Coordinate with carriers and delivery services
• Inspect packages for accuracy and proper condition
• Maintain an organized and safe shipping area
• Assist with receiving and inventory tasks as needed
• Follow company safety and shipping procedures

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift and move packages as required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude

salary: $21 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products for delivery.
• Verify items against orders, invoices, or packing lists.
• Label packages with shipping information.
• Ensure packages meet carrier requirements.
• Create shipping documents and manifests.
• Schedule pickups with carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL).
• Calculate shipping costs and select appropriate shipping methods.
• Enter shipment information into inventory or shipping software.
• Maintain accurate shipping records.
• Update inventory levels after shipments.
• Track shipments and provide status updates.
• File bills of lading, receipts, and other documentation.
