Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney for its Melville, NY office. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in foreclosure litigation and be a member in good standing of the NY Bar. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with room for growth and advancement. Duties Manage and prioritize a large caseload. Draft and review pleadings to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Attend hearings and status conferences. Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and team members. Provide creative solutions to complex problems to mitigate client risk. Requirements 5 years of foreclosure litigation experience. Member in good standing of the NY Bar. Experience with title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or mortgage banking preferred. Education Juris Doctorate. Certifications Member of the NY Bar. Skills Strong case management and prioritization skills. Excellent drafting and legal research abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits Casual office atmosphere.
