Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients upon intake, identifying personal history, presenting issues, and any co-occurring disorders relevant to their treatment.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, outlining specific therapeutic goals and interventions for each individual.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies to address emotional distress and foster recovery.

• Facilitate crisis intervention when needed, employing de-escalation techniques and making referrals for more intensive care when necessary, particularly during mental health emergencies.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to support their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure a comprehensive and consistent treatment plan is upheld for each client.

The focus of this role will primarily be on clients at our Detox Center, a transitional environment for individuals grappling with addiction and related mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally in mental health, addiction treatment, or similar settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
