Auto and General Liability Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Auto and General Liability Attorney in the New York area. This role offers flexibility in office location and a hybrid work-from-home schedule. Duties Oversee day-to-day case management with full litigation responsibilities. Draft and argue motions, attend court conferences, and conduct depositions. Prepare discovery responses and coordinate medical examinations. Communicate directly with clients and carriers on case strategy and updates. Collaborate with a supportive team while maintaining autonomy over your files. Contribute to cases involving premises liability and general negligence. Requirements Admission to the New York Bar is required. Admission in New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania is a plus. 1-5 years of relevant defense litigation experience. Strong background in liability and property damage, as well as uninsured and underinsured litigation and No-Fault. Extensive deposition experience. Ability to manage a caseload independently with guidance from team leaders. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the New York Bar. Skills Strong litigation and case management skills. Excellent communication and client service abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
