Job Overview A law firm seeks a dedicated attorney to serve as a Pre-Suit focused Attorney in Seaport, New York. The role involves managing pre-litigation work and guiding clients through the case process, with a focus on general liability cases.
Duties Handle day-to-day pre-litigation work.
Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process.
Guide clients through the case process.
Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
Manage the release approval process.
Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.
Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the NY State Bar Association.
1+ years of experience in general liability or personal injury.
Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications Member of the New York State Bar Association.
Skills Strong leadership and team management.
Excellent communication and client service.
Superior writing and advocacy skills.
