Job Title: Shelf-Life/Disposal Lead
Position Number: To be completed by HR Location/Worksite: NMRLC Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, VA Travel: As required Status: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Contract Award Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain Government background investigation and CAC Date Added: April 9, 2026 Job Summary The Shelf-Life / Disposal Lead Specialist leads and manages shelf-life and disposal operations to ensure compliance, accountability, and readiness of controlled material across warehouse locations. Duties and Responsibilities- Lead shelf-life management operations across warehouse locations.
- Manage shelf-life activities for pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, industrial hazardous materials, narcotics, collective protection materiel, and cold-chain items.
- Execute shelf-life extension actions for Type II material in accordance with the Shelf-Life Extension Program (SLEP).
- Identify expired, expiring, excess, and obsolete material and initiate corrective actions.
- Manage disposal operations including DLADS, reverse distribution, incineration, hazardous waste disposal, and IT material disposal.
- Ensure accurate documentation of shelf-life and disposal transactions.
- Supervise assigned personnel and ensure quality and compliance of operations.
- Utilize inventory systems to track shelf-life data, extensions, and disposal actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Government and warehouse leadership to maintain readiness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
