Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to address diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, employing various therapeutic modalities.

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and educational specialists to create a supportive care network for clients.

• Document client progress and treatment efficacy in electronic health records (EHR) using secure and confidential practices.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision sessions and continuing education programs to enhance professional development and remain informed of the latest industry practices.

• Provide crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience providing mental health counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
