Senior Administrative Coordinator

Senior Administrative Coordinator‑Days, UChicago Medicine Be a part of a world‑class academic healthcare system at UChicago Medicine. The Senior Administrative Coordinator develops, compiles, and reports complex data sets related to patient safety, quality, patient experience, compliance, employee engagement, finance, payroll, supply chain, and workflow standardization. Using industry methodologies and benchmarks, the SAC produces actionable insights that yield positive outcomes. The SAC maintains employee personnel files, processes supply orders, approves time and attendance, and reports related T/A‑occurrence data. The SAC is responsible for policy‑driven standardized payroll procedures and ensures reliable data sources and accurate, integral reports. The role actively participates in improvement activities and outcomes. Essential Job Functions Develop, compile, and report complex data sets related to patient safety, quality, patient experience, compliance, employee engagement, finance, payroll, supply chain, and workflow standardization, using accepted methodologies and benchmarks to provide actionable insights. Maintain employee personnel files, process supply orders, approve time and attendance, and report related T/A‑occurrence data; serve as owner and resource for payroll policy compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to collect, aggregate, and trend data; present information to committees for compliance and process improvement. Attend meetings and execute action plans according to best practices and assigned timelines. Develop and utilize tools to communicate data in a standard, user‑friendly format. Participate as a member of assigned committees, providing required data aggregation and summaries. Act positively as a change agent for improvement initiatives and support department initiatives by following up on requested actions. Perform other duties and project management tasks as assigned by senior management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of three years hospital experience, preferably in an analyst, coordinator, or operational role, or equivalent education. Strong analytical skills with excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication. Ability to collaborate with management, medical staff, and employees. Knowledge of quality‑improvement principles, data collection, and reporting; ability to create and manage databases using Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Advanced ability to create summary reports embedding statistical tools and charts.
