Sales Executive

This organization operates as a healthcare expense optimization and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partner focused on the long-term care and post-acute care industry. The company helps nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living operators reduce costs, improve purchasing efficiency, and strengthen vendor relationships through aggregated buying power, contract negotiation, and spend analysis. Their platform is built around uncovering meaningful savings across critical operational categories such as medical supplies, pharmacy, dietary, housekeeping, and facility services, ultimately improving financial performance without compromising quality of care.

By leveraging deep industry knowledge and established supplier relationships, the organization functions as a strategic extension of the facilities it serves. They operate in a highly relationship-driven environment where success is measured by tangible cost savings delivered to operators who are under constant pressure to manage rising expenses.

We are seeking a driven Sales Executive focused exclusively on the nursing home and long-term care market. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with facility owners and administrators, and closing deals centered around significant cost reduction through GPO-based purchasing and expense optimization solutions. This is a consultative, high-trust sales role where success comes from understanding operational pain points, identifying inefficiencies in facility spend, and clearly articulating measurable financial impact.

The ideal candidate has experience selling into healthcare facilities, senior living operators, or related procurement environments, and understands how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making processes. This is a hunter role with strong upside, requiring discipline, pipeline management, and the ability to convert long-term relationships into closed business.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care operators
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across assigned territories
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand facility purchasing structures, challenges, and cost drivers
  • Present and sell GPO-driven savings and procurement optimization solutions to decision-makers
  • Develop relationships with administrators, owners, operators, and procurement leaders
  • Manage full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution
  • Partner with internal teams to structure proposals, savings analyses, and deal support materials
  • Maintain consistent outreach activity and pipeline discipline to drive new revenue
  • Stay informed on industry trends, reimbursement pressures, and healthcare purchasing dynamics
  • Represent the organization professionally in meetings, presentations, and industry networking opportunities
Qualifications
  • 2–7+ years of B2B sales experience preferred, ideally in healthcare, long-term care, or senior living
  • Strong preference for candidates with exposure to nursing homes, GPOs, or healthcare procurement environments
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative sales role
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence multi-level decision-makers
  • Comfortable navigating longer sales cycles with multiple stakeholders involved
  • Self-driven, competitive, and highly organized in pipeline management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience selling ROI-driven or cost-savings-based solutions is a major advantage
