We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the OpCo Controller position within our Controllership group, based in New York City. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all controllership functions in the operating company, including general accounting, financial reporting, and financial systems. Set clear targets, considering stakeholder priorities, and ensure accountability for support quality and overall stakeholder satisfaction. Maintain awareness of operating company risks, operational issues, and challenges, proactively intervening when required, and providing detailed updates to senior management. Achieve and maintain closing timetables, ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and tax requirements. Support the development of regional accounting policies and procedures, presenting financial statements for the assigned region. Coordinate year-end statutory, audit, and tax financial requirements, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. Resolve technical accounting matters, conduct research, and liaise closely with the accounting operations team. Oversee the control environment, ensuring appropriate design and consistent execution. Assist with systems implementations and enhancements, focusing on maintaining the integrity of financial data, processes, and controls. Qualifications: MBA or Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similar discipline. CPA license. Multiple years of finance experience, with a significant portion in a controllership-focused role (Controller or Assistant Controller). Management responsibilities in a matrixed environment.
