Real Estate Paralegal

A leading global law firm with a prominent Real Estate and Financial Markets practice is looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its New York team. The firm represents institutional investors and lenders in complex commercial real estate loans, dispositions, and sale transactions. What You’ll Be Doing Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and related due diligence documents Identify, summarize, and help resolve title, survey, and zoning issues, including negotiating title insurance and related reports Draft, edit, and conform legal documents and correspondence Coordinate title, survey, zoning, and other third-party services throughout transactions Support escrow closings for purchase, sale, and financing transactions, including closing documents, settlement statements, signature pages, execution, recording, and document delivery Coordinate closing logistics with attorneys, clients, and other parties Handle post-closing matters, including UCC filings and preparation of closing binders Coordinate outside vendors and manage related bills and disbursement paperwork Provide general supervision and guidance to project assistants and other clerical staff when required What They’re Looking For 5+ years of Real Estate Paralegal experience, preferably within a large or global law firm Strong commercial real estate transaction experience, particularly with lending, dispositions, and sale transactions Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with title, survey, and zoning examination Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification is a plus What’s on Offer $100,000 – $150,000 salary, depending on experience and qualifications Competitive benefits package Opportunity to work on complex, high-value commercial real estate transactions Exposure to sophisticated institutional investors and lenders Opportunity to join a highly regarded Real Estate and Financial Markets practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
