Work Environment

This position is located in our outpatient office, designed for innovation and patient comfort. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the possibility of staying until 8:00 p.m. on occasion and potential weekend events. Your average commitment will be around 40 hours weekly. This centralized facility allows for close collaboration with other healthcare professionals, enabling you to develop comprehensive care strategies tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as the Advanced Cardiac Care Nurse Practitioner, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough health evaluations for a diverse patient population, identifying risk factors and underlying conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of cardiac conditions, such as hypertension and coronary artery disease.
• Monitor patients’ responses to therapies, adjusting care plans as necessary based on clinical judgment and patient feedback.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with specialists, general practitioners, and community organizations to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about heart health, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to prevent complications.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing cardiovascular health awareness and providing free screenings.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this advanced role will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Nurse Practitioner certification along with an active nursing license in the state of Maryland.
• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, ideally in cardiology or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to foster partnerships and collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Farm Workers Comfort Cove Hospital offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
