Work Environment

Your workspace at Intermountain Advanced Care Medical Clinic will be an onsite facility designed to support efficient patient care. You will collaborate daily with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals focused on cardiology. Our clinical setting enables seamless operations, ensuring patients receive the intensive monitoring and support they need. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while delivering critical care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in our cardiology clinic, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of vital tasks, including:

• Providing education to patients about their conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care, addressing queries before and after surgical interventions.
• Coordinating patient scheduling and care protocols to ensure optimal clinic operations and readiness for procedures.
• Administering and supervising various stress tests such as Regular, Echo, and Nuclear tests, crucial for diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions.
• Assisting patients with the management of their INR levels, enabling safe anticoagulation therapy.
• Working collaboratively with our clinical team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that enhance patient outcomes and streamline workflows.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population, including those with chronic heart conditions, patients post-cardiac surgery, and individuals seeking preventive cardiology care. Your role will involve direct interactions with patients of various ages, backgrounds, and medical histories, making your contributions critical to their long-term heart health and overall well-being.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we require:

• Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A genuine passion for cardiology is essential. While previous experience in cardiology is advantageous, we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow in this specialization.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
