Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on cardiology, including conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, addressing their questions and concerns both pre- and post-procedure to enhance their understanding and compliance.
• Coordinate patient readiness and care effectively throughout their treatment journey at the clinic.
• Perform various diagnostic tests such as stress testing (regular, echo, and nuclear) to monitor and assess cardiovascular health.
• Assist patients in managing their INR levels, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and support based on their treatment plans.
• Supervise the clinical workflow by collaborating seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a patient-centered approach that supports optimal health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily care for a diverse population, including students from various backgrounds, as well as faculty and staff within the school. Emphasizing preventive care and health education, you will engage with individuals who are often looking to optimize their cardiovascular health and risk factors.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing or a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• Cardiology experience is preferred; however, we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within this specialized field.

Compensation and Benefits
