This full-time role will require you to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that extends beyond the clinic walls, primarily engaging with patients through house calls. Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, providing you the opportunity to work closely with patients in their homes, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of their health and lifestyle. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours until 8:00 p.m., and participation in weekend health events. On average, you can expect to work around 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner at Best Med Trust Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough health assessments and screenings for patients with both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Diagnosing and managing medical conditions with a focus on both preventive care and health promotion strategies.
• Interpreting diagnostic tests, including EKGs and lab results, to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiologists and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Advocating for patient needs and rights, providing culturally sensitive and respectful care to a diverse patient demographic.
• Managing referrals to specialty care and ensuring that patients receive appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives and health fairs to educate the public about cardiovascular health.
• Staying abreast of the latest evidence-based practices, health trends, and policies impacting cardiovascular health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele you will be working with includes a varied demographic, ranging from young adults experiencing their first symptoms of heart issues to older patients managing chronic heart conditions. Your approach should encompass compassionate care that respects the unique needs and backgrounds of each patient, ensuring they feel comfortable discussing their full range of health concerns.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner certification and a current nursing license in the state of Maryland.
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing; a Master's degree is preferred and may enhance your candidacy.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, specifically with a focus on cardiology is strongly preferred, ideally in community or public health settings.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport and trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

Experience in concierge medicine and previous work in settings providing house call services is highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth tools and electronic health records (EHR) systems will also be advantageous. Your ability to provide exemplary patient care on an individual level will be crucial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, reflecting your level of experience and qualifications.
