Work Environment

This full-time Nurse Practitioner role is onsite at our outpatient office, where you will be surrounded by a supportive team of healthcare professionals. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of 16-20 cardiology patients daily, focusing on both new and returning patients.
• Perform and interpret stress tests to assess patients’ cardiovascular health and determine appropriate management strategies.
• Manage chronic disease states including hypertension, heart failure, and hyperlipidemia, developing care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Facilitate follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Implement evidence-based practices and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at West Med Medical Care Center, you will cater to a diverse population of patients with varying degrees of heart-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing (APRN) from an accredited program.
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP).
• A current DEA license for prescribing medications.
• At least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a cardiology or acute care setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient clinical settings, particularly in cardiology.
• Knowledge of advanced diagnostic testing and treatment protocols in cardiovascular health.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure effective patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits
