Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients about their health, addressing concerns before and after surgeries to ensure optimal recovery.
• Coordinate patient care throughout the clinic, ensuring seamless communication and readiness for procedures.
• Administer and interpret stress tests, including regular, echo, and nuclear tests, while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Manage patients’ INR levels, providing guidance and support for patients on anticoagulation therapy.
• Oversee clinical workflows, ensuring efficiency and supporting the collaborative efforts of the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will focus on a diverse range of patients, primarily seniors and individuals with complex cardiac conditions. By fostering strong relationships with patients, you will be instrumental in improving their overall health and quality of life through proactive management and tailored care strategies.

Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Maryland.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiology principles; cardiology experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

At least two years of practical experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required, giving you the nuanced understanding necessary for effectively managing patient care in a cardiology setting. Experience with stress tests and INR management is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
