Work Environment

This position is onsite at our home care facility, which fosters a collaborative and supportive working atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers, including nurses and administrative staff, all dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a consistent routine while providing vital care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to patient inquiries, providing both pre- and post-operative education to ensure a comprehensive understanding of cardiology procedures and self-care.
• Oversee and coordinate patient care processes by reviewing patient histories, conducting assessments, and ensuring necessary preparations are complete within the clinic.
• Conduct and administer various cardiac stress tests, including Regular, Echo, and Nuclear tests, ensuring accurate results and monitoring throughout the process.
• Manage patients' International Normalized Ratio (INR) levels, providing guidance in medication adjustments and lifestyle modifications to enhance individual health outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with our cardiology team, fostering an integrated approach to patient care that encompasses early detection and intervention for heart-related issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on adult patients facing cardiovascular challenges, from common heart diseases to advanced cardiac conditions. With an emphasis on personalized care, you will actively engage with patients to address their concerns, promoting awareness and education about heart health prevention and management.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• While prior experience in cardiology is beneficial, candidates with a strong passion for cardiac care and a commitment to continued education will be considered.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience in a clinical setting, particularly in managing cardiac patients. Familiarity with cardiology-specific assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans will greatly enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
