Work Environment

Located within an assisted living facility, our clinic offers a supportive environment where healthcare professionals can thrive. The facility is designed to ensure comfort and accessibility for our patients, and our onsite staff collaborates closely to ensure seamless delivery of care. Our regular operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient education regarding cardiovascular health, addressing queries and concerns before and after surgical procedures.
• Facilitate patient readiness for clinical assessments, ensuring all necessary preparations are completed for stress tests and consultations.
• Administer and oversee various cardiac stress tests, including Regular, Echo, and Nuclear, efficiently managing scheduling and patient flow within the clinic.
• Assist patients with monitoring and managing their INR levels, ensuring adherence to anticoagulation therapy protocols.
• Collaborate with the clinical team, including cardiologists and nursing staff, to ensure a streamlined workflow and optimal patient care experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Cardiovascular Unit at our clinic focuses primarily on patients who require specialized heart care and monitoring. By working with diverse patient populations, including those with chronic cardiovascular diseases, recent surgery patients, and individuals undergoing diagnostic procedures, you will be instrumental in improving patient outcomes through continuous monitoring and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• A valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution is essential.

Preferred Experience

• While prior clinical experience in cardiology is advantageous, we value a genuine interest in cardiac care and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Candidates with experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and follow-ups will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits
