Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments, accurately diagnosing mental health disorders to facilitate effective treatment planning.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, closely monitoring their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to dosages to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Provide various therapeutic services, including psychotherapy and counseling methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies that promote sustained mental wellness.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting changes in symptoms, therapy outcomes, and medication responses to inform ongoing treatment decisions.
• Conduct regular follow-up appointments to assess treatment effectiveness, address patient concerns proactively, and amend treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision to enhance professional development and share expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s degree or higher in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing is preferred.
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is strongly preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications are desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct psychiatric nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with concierge medicine or similar personalized care models is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary ranging from $200,000 to $250,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
