Work Environment\n

The LCSW position offers a remote work setting that allows for flexibility while ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care tailored to their unique needs. This role primarily revolves around telehealth services, collaborating with clients through virtual platforms to provide them with the support needed, especially in times of economic and social pressures. You will also participate in regular meetings with multidisciplinary teams to maintain aligned care strategies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations for clients, effectively gathering their personal history, presenting issues, and risk factors.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address specific mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering personal development, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies tailored to the needs of clients.

• Engage actively in crisis intervention scenarios, providing immediate support and interventions while ensuring client safety and stability.

• Maintain diligent documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes within our electronic health record (EHR) systems, supporting continuity of care.

• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to mental health treatment, advocating for clients' needs and monitoring their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Your skills will specifically aid students who require mental health support within their academic environments. You will help them overcome barriers and integrate effectively into their school or community settings, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in Texas.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working within mental health or educational environments.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Strong capabilities in conducting mental health assessments, diagnoses, and the formulation of effective treatment plans.

• Experience facilitating therapeutic sessions both individually and in groups.

Compensation and Benefits\n
