We are currently seeking dedicated Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our innovative team at Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely, providing telehealth services as well as face-to-face consultations, specifically aimed at addressing trauma and enhancing the mental health and well-being of our clients.

Work Environment\n

As a remote position, our LPCs can perform their duties from the comfort of their homes while remaining connected to a dynamic team. The telehealth setting provides flexibility and allows counselors to reach a broad range of clients across various demographics. Our practice operates seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM, allowing for adaptable scheduling that meets both counselor and client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will be engaged in the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to ascertain patients' histories and needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on healing and resilience, utilizing evidenced-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process trauma, build coping mechanisms, and foster overall well-being.
\n
• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and cohesive care for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies, demonstrating a calm and organized approach that supports clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on recognizing trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and informing them about available resources for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation complying with both ethical and legal standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

• Participate actively in case consultations, ongoing professional development, and team meetings focused on the latest advancements in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy, adapting therapeutic approaches to benefit clients accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily focuses on adults affected by trauma, including but not limited to those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. We also value the psychological health of couples and families and offer our counselors opportunities to work with diverse client groups. We are open to providing training for therapists willing to expand their practice to include couples therapy.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is preferred, we value willingness to learn and grow within our team. Experience in implementing trauma-focused therapeutic modalities is highly desired, along with a record of successful collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and proficiency. Our compensation package includes:
