Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers is seeking dedicated Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our team and provide exceptional mental health support through a combination of telehealth and in-person sessions. This full-time position, based in Victoria, Texas, allows for remote work while also offering the opportunity to connect with clients on-site as needed. We aim to address the mental health needs of our patients holistically, focusing primarily on trauma recovery.

Work Environment\n

This role offers significant flexibility as it allows counselors to engage with patients via telehealth and in-person settings at our community health clinic. Our working hours span from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, giving counselors the autonomy to shape their schedules according to their needs. Our support team is readily available to assist with scheduling and client services, ensuring counselors can focus on delivering care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a part of our dedicated team, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and current challenges.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the building of resilience.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and navigate their recovery journey.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, integrated care for patients.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support and care as needed.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and various resources available for support.
\n
• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and professional knowledge.

• Staying informed about the latest research and evolving best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.
\n
• A strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Experience in utilizing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Two years of post-licensure counseling experience.

• Experience working with couples in a therapeutic setting (training provided).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers competitive compensation, with a salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, depending on experience. We provide:
