Work Environment\n

This full-time position operates within a remote work setting, complemented by an outpatient office environment in Knoxville, TN, which enables team members to balance professional commitments with personal responsibilities. We believe that effective therapy cannot occur without supportive teamwork, which is why we provide access to a compassionate support team that assists with scheduling and client services. Operating from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week, we offer flexible working hours to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate individual patients' trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a strong focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and ongoing progress tracking.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions where patients can openly discuss their trauma experiences, learn peer interaction strategies, and foster healing in a safe environment.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the integration of comprehensive care for each patient, fostering a multi-disciplinary approach.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm demeanor while managing high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, response strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring ongoing best practices.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development focused on trauma-informed care, staying abreast of current research and methodologies in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

Summit Behavioral Health Resources offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, reflecting your experience and dedication.
