This full-time, remote position allows you to provide essential mental health support primarily via telehealth while also having opportunities for face-to-face sessions at our Little Elm outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance clients' recovery and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide therapy sessions.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on processing trauma, building coping strategies, and facilitating healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective assistance.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to support ongoing recovery.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, supporting quality client care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, enhancing your skill set and therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing trauma-related challenges. Our patient population includes a diverse demographic, presenting a range of mental health concerns linked to traumatic experiences. Your expertise will be key in helping them process their trauma and develop healthier coping mechanisms, ultimately leading to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental presence.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, providing a stable environment for clients.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, eager to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience as a Behavioral Health Generalist, with a willingness to see couples, as we provide specialized training in this area.

• Self-motivated individuals with a strong commitment to completing clinical documentation efficiently, ideally within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our compensation package includes:
