This full-time remote position will enable you to provide vital mental health support through telehealth services and face-to-face sessions at our community health clinic in New Braunfels, Texas. This role offers a remote work setting that encourages flexibility while serving our community health clinic. Our operational hours range from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, allowing you to design a work schedule that fits your life. You will benefit from a team-oriented culture, supported by administrative staff, ensuring your focus remains on client care. Our approach allows clinicians to establish a full clinical caseload typically within the first 90 days after credentialing, which is covered by our organization.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans specifically aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma and cultivating effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for all patients.
\n
• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and recovery.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, optimal coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential session documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
