We operate seven days a week, with flexible hours from 7 am to 10 pm, allowing you to tailor your schedule around your lifestyle while ensuring that clients receive the care they need.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Banyan Recovery, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support therapeutic progress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting holistic healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and cohesive care for clients.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to deliver the highest level of care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
