Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPC at Great Lake Behavioral Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: Lead engaging and therapeutic sessions focused on fostering connections and shared experiences among clients.

• Providing Individual Counseling: Conduct personalized therapy sessions, enabling clients to explore their thoughts and emotions while developing effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges and aspirations.
\n
• Monitoring Client Progress: Assess and document client progress using various assessment tools, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Team: Partner with fellow professionals to ensure coordinated care, discussing cases and offering insights to optimize client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with young adults aged 18 to 30, many of whom face challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your clinical expertise and empathy will be vital in helping them navigate this pivotal period in their lives. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct therapy within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), aiming to provide evidence-based and holistic treatments tailored to each client’s needs.

Qualifications\n

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• A current and valid license as a Professional Counselor in Texas.

• Proven experience in a clinical setting working with young adults in therapeutic roles.

Preferred Experience\n

While specific experience can vary, candidates with backgrounds in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and group therapy facilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with therapeutic tools and assessment methodologies is also beneficial to succeed in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
