We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at the Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center. As an LPC, you will play a critical role in providing mental health support through telehealth services, predominantly focusing on trauma-informed care. You will work with a diverse client base in Tullahoma, Tennessee, helping individuals and families navigate their mental health challenges in a supportive environment.

Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing counselors to provide flexible services via telehealth while maintaining high standards of client interaction. Our practice operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, ensuring that we cater to clients’ varying schedules. Additionally, you will have access to a support team dedicated to scheduling and client services, allowing you to devote your time and energy to client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients’ trauma histories and appropriate treatment plans.
\n
• Develop and implement custom treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and ongoing support.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping patients process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to individual patient needs.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention services to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about coping strategies, trauma responses, and mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments per legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in ongoing team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with clients who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to domestic violence, emotional abuse, and more. Our practice welcomes individuals from all walks of life, targeting both individual and family dynamics to ensure that our treatments address the unique contexts and needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for documentation and case management.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, enthusiastic about working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, ideally with expertise in trauma-focused therapies.

• Experience in performing assessments and developing treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure and sensitivity in high-stress situations.
\n
• Willingness to engage in professional development and further training opportunities.
\n
• Familiarity with strategies that address both individual and relational therapy, including couples therapy (training provided).

Compensation and Benefits\n
