Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our team. In this role, you will provide a balance of telehealth and in-person therapy sessions, assisting clients in their journey toward healing and recovery from trauma. This position is full-time and offers the flexibility of remote work while focusing your efforts in serving the community of Pharr, Texas.

Work Environment\n

This remote position allows counselors to practice in a supportive and flexible environment while providing essential services through a Community Health Clinic framework. Our working hours are designed to accommodate a variety of schedules, operating from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, to ensure accessibility for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ trauma histories and tailor effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery, emphasizing building resilience and coping strategies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing their trauma and developing healthy coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care to clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to foster understanding and support.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and effective patient care.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and stay informed about the latest practices in trauma therapy.

• Commit to continual professional development to remain updated on evolving methodologies in trauma treatment.

You will work with a diverse patient population affected by various types of trauma, including but not limited to abuse, neglect, loss, and other life-altering events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a LPC in the state of Texas is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client engagement.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies is advantageous.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, coupled with a SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified candidates. Additional benefits include:
