Oasis Mental Clinic is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. This full-time position will primarily focus on providing telehealth and in-person therapy sessions for clients in McKinney, Texas. Work Environment\n

This role allows for the flexibility of remote work while also incorporating face-to-face interactions. The community health clinic provides an inviting environment for both patients and clinicians, fostering trust and open communication. Our clinic operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, ensuring that we can meet the diverse schedules of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the patient's history and current challenges.
\n
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for each client.

• Providing crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with tools for recovery.

• Maintaining precise and confidential case documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engaging in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development aimed at advancing trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We serve a diverse patient population, including individuals facing severe trauma, abuse histories, and various mental health disorders. Our client-centric approach focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their traumas and work towards recovery. You will have the flexibility to see couples, and we provide training to expand your skill set in this area.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• A strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be preferred:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Oasis Mental Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
