In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in delivering telehealth services that empower individuals to navigate their mental health challenges, particularly those related to trauma. With an annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000, we also offer a competitive sign-on bonus as part of your employment package.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the advantage of remote work with telehealth capabilities, allowing you to provide essential care from the comfort of your own space. Our practice operates seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, promoting a flexible schedule that works for both our therapists and their clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide engaging individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment for patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Manage crisis interventions during trauma-related emergencies to support patients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, equipping them with the tools necessary for self-care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Your primary focus will be working with clients experiencing trauma-related disorders, where you will implement trauma-informed techniques tailored to meet their unique needs. Our clients range from individuals needing support for personal trauma to couples navigating the complexities that arise from shared experiences. Your insights and expertise will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure environments.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies.
