Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students, identifying emotional, social, and financial needs.
\n
• Provide individual and group counseling to address a range of issues including adjustment challenges, grief, coping strategies, and mental wellness.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.
\n
• Coordinate with community organizations and resources to ensure seamless transition and post-discharge services, thereby nurturing long-term support.
\n
• Engage actively in crisis intervention scenarios, offering immediate support and guidance to students and families in distress.
\n
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements, ensuring compliance and quality in service delivery.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address students’ needs and enhance care coordination.
\n
• Provide training and workshops for staff, equipping them with knowledge on mental health issues and effective intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population for this role includes students ranging from elementary through high school, as well as their families. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, addressing a variety of psychosocial issues that can impact academic performance and personal development. Your focus will be on fostering resilience, coping skills, and overall mental health support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Proficient knowledge of mental health disorders, developmental psychology, and crisis intervention techniques.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience practicing as an LCSW in a healthcare or educational setting is preferred, particularly with a focus on children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
