Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs, create treatment plans, and coordinate behavioral health services that align with their individual goals.

• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Actively engage in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, psychologists, and administration to develop comprehensive support strategies for students.

• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to confidentiality and compliance regulations.
\n
• Perform timely evaluations and intakes for new clients, addressing potential crises effectively while implementing appropriate intervention strategies.

• Facilitate referrals for clients in need of additional services, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders and admission to higher levels of care when necessary.

• Screen clients for substance misuse issues, providing counseling and making appropriate referrals when indicated.
\n
• Stay informed about current local, state, and federal behavioral healthcare trends, contributing your knowledge to shape program development and delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be the student population within the school environment. You will work closely with adolescents who may experience a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges. Your engagement can help students not only navigate their personal difficulties but also empower them to reach their academic and social potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, alongside a current LCSW licensure to practice independently.
