This role is structured for remote work, providing flexibility in your scheduling while being dedicated to a school environment. Full-time employees can also expect to occasionally accommodate evening and weekend hours to better serve our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to develop personalized treatment plans adhering to best practices and tailored to individual student needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, and motivational interviewing to promote positive behavioral changes in students.

• Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions and treatment progress, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for tracking outcomes against set goals.

• Foster a collaborative atmosphere by coordinating with other mental health providers and educational staff, ensuring a holistic approach to each student’s treatment.

• Identify and assist in the administration of psychiatric medications prescribed by medical professionals, monitoring efficacy and adherence closely.

• Provide crises intervention and support for students facing urgent mental health challenges, navigating them towards appropriate resources.

• Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with evolving mental health methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your role is crucial in identifying these challenges early and working extensively with students and their families to create sustainable strategies for improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current, valid, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for independent practice in Florida.

• A minimum of one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist is essential for this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
