Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to students diagnosed with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate students' emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each patient's unique challenges.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based strategies, ensuring that they are culturally sensitive and tailored to meet the needs of diverse student backgrounds.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, educational staff, and families, to create a holistic support system for each student.

• Adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and ongoing evaluations to support continuous improvement in mental health outcomes.

• Offer education and support to students and their families, guiding them through available mental health resources and treatment options.

• Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation in accordance with professional and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and proper consent practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will directly support school-aged children and adolescents who face various mental health challenges. This includes working with students presenting emotional difficulties that impact their academic performance and social interactions. Your interventions will play a critical role in helping them navigate their mental health journey, thereby facilitating their overall personal and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, especially within a school or community-based setting.

• Strong clinical skills, able to conduct assessments and design effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
