Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to accurately diagnose and determine the effectiveness of mental health care using established diagnostic tools such as the DSM-5.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, ensuring culturally appropriate strategies to address their unique needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate patient progress, modify intervention strategies as necessary, and document all clinical interactions thoroughly and timely using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Facilitate educational workshops or support groups for patients and families to foster better understanding of mental health issues and provide coping strategies.

• Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, referring patients to additional services as needed, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders involved in patient’s treatment.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to students, interns, and other clinical staff, including conducting peer reviews and aiding in the professional development of team members.

You will primarily work with children and adolescents impacted by cancer diagnoses, providing mental health support that acknowledges their unique psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current New Jersey State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in clinical social work, particularly in mental health settings is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
